The market closed positive last week for the fourth week in a row. The continued growth has been driven in part by news on the COVID front. The market perked with the news of progress in potential vaccine solutions; while remaining seemingly neutral to the rise in positive test results.
This was also a significant week for economic data releases. Overall the data was balanced with some good news and some bad. Economic data tells the story of what has happened. The market had little reaction, which tells us there were no big surprises.
This week there will likely be a great focus on additional economic stimulus to support displaced workers. The existing program expires at the end of the month.
